NOTICE as to CHART INDEX NUMBERS Daily Racing Form will start the new year with a new series of index numbers for its charts. If the present series should be continued, the 100,000 mark would be passed on the first day of the new year. So, beqinning with the racing of January 1, the chart numbers will go back to 1,000 and resume-with that figure. The comparative convenience of the smaller number will be readily apparent.
