ANOTHER MEETING IN MARYLAND Cumberland Md August 10 It was definitely decided last night to hold a running race meeting at the Cumberland track during the six days of homecoming September 2 to 7 The executive com ¬ mittee approved of the project to carry through which twelve prominent citizens have pledged 15 000 of which 7500 will go for purses of from 100 to 300 each There will be six races dally 7 S Berger active in promoting the races has gone to Hamilton to arrange for the shipment here of horses now taking part in that meeting while Jack Wilson another representative has gouo to Louisville Lexington and Latouia
