RACING IN CANADIAN NORTHWEST. j Edmonton, Alta.. October 7. The Edmonton Jockey Club, recently organized by P. O. Dwyer, president of the Northern Investment company: Joseph Drlscoll, a member of the city council. W. It. West and I. R. Stewart and their associates will bmld a mile track in the suburbs of Edmonton and conduct race meetings in a circuit, which is to include Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria and several cities in .Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Plans are also being made for a meeting beginning May 21 next either at Fort Saskatchewan or Wetasklwln.
