NOTES OF THE TURF. "I want plenty of good horse racing, chicken fighting and honest poker playing In my state." said Gov. Cole L. Miles has arrived at Churchill Downs from Laurel with his string of eight horses, namely, Fal-cada. Be, King Box. Woof. Caro Nome, Bounder. .Mud Sill and Cordie F. All shipped well. Miles will go to Latonia this fall and from there will ship his stable to Juarez for winter racing. Matt Feakes reixirts that Mrs. L. A. Livingston plans to mate Sotemia. 1912 winner of the Kentucky Endurance Stakes, with her good horse Lovetie next season. Lovetie was raced only onco this year because he turned roarer.
