NO MANAGER was rushed to the front early and showed the most speed, but had to bo ridden to outstay JEZAIL. The latter closed a big gap and, coming through on the Inside, finished with a rush. FLATBUSH went to the Inside on the turns and outgamed the tiring CASTARA. The latter ran well and finished close tin. WORSTDALE ran poorly in tlie going. The latter moved up quickly on the turn out of the field and was cut off, but came again and was wearing the winner down at the end. MO tired badly lu the Ual nule. CARLTON G. is improving, but tired in the last sixteentli after getting up on almost equal terms with the leaders. CADEAU was outpaced In the early running, hut finished fast. NAPIER, suddenly improved, ran into the lead at the half-mile post and was under restraint for the remainder of the race. DIIFY. also running in greatly improved form, closed a big gap and finished with a rash. MERRY LAD ran well, but swerved over to the Inside in the last sixteenth and crowded HENOTIO against the fence and was disqualified. IIENOTIC ran well and probably would have been second but for the interference. HALDEMAN tired. Scratched 12299 Servicence, 10S. Overweights Linbrook, 3 pounds.
