JisABELLE VALLE began slowly, but gained rapidly after going the first quarter and, although losing much ground by coming wide into the stretch, drew out decisively in the last eighth. BABY SISTER was forced back soon after the start and closed a big gap lu the stretch. BRACKTOWN BELLE tired in the stretch after showing speed and setting the pace for the first half. SIR MARION, away forwardly and well ridden, moved Into the lead on the stretch turn and easllv held the others safe to the end. GALLEY SLAVE was hard ridden for the entire race and held on gamely, but tired and just lasted long enough to hold second place. OREEN dropped back on the stretch turn arid came, again fast in the last eighth.- URSULA EMMA closed a big gap. J. II. BARR had to go wide all the way. MISS JEAN quit badly in the stretch.
