JAMESTOWN STAKES WELL FILLED. Norfolk, Va., October 30. One hundred and fifty nominations have been made by turfmen now actively racing in Maryland and Kentucky for the four stakes to be run during the autumn race meeting of the Jamestown Jockey Club, which begins Thursday. November 13, to last for fifteen racing days. The class of horses revealed by perusal of the list of nominations excels that of any previous list for the chief races at the seaside track, and Manager Bob Levy is particularly pleased with the diversity of ownership aud representation of the west as well as the east. The nominations, which have been forwarded to the Jockey Club for approval prior to publication, are distributed as follows: Merchants Selliug Stakes, ,000, for all ages, six furlongs, to be run on Ladies day, Thursday, . November 13; 41 nominations. Lynnhavcn notel Handicap, ,000. for two-year-olds, six furlongs, to be run on Saturday. November 15: 33 nominations. Monticello Hotel Handicap, ,200, for all ages, 1 mile, to be run on Saturday, November 22; 3S nominations. Thanksgiving Day Handicap, ,000. for all aces, 1 mile and a sixteenth, to be run Thursday, November 27; 3S nominations. The largest individual nominator to these events is Richard T. Wilson with eleven nominees. The yellow and green of the millionaire easterners stable will be borne in all of the events, track conditions being favorable, and they will be conspicuous in the handicaps and overnight races, as trainer T. J. Ilealey has reserved stalls for 12 horses, all in forward condition. The dependencies of the Wilson establishment for stake honors are the two-year-olds Northerner and Pomette Bleu and the older performers Altamaha, Yellow Eyes, Genesta and Tartar. Other stables which are extensive nominators to the Jamestown stakes are those of August Belmont, Harrv Pavne Whitney. Oneck Stable. G. M. Johnson, Beverwvck Stable, J. 0. Talbot t, J. W. Hed-rick. A. R. .Toplin, William Martin, Ral Parr, Parkvale Stable. P. S. P. Randolph. John Whalen, W. M. Sheedv, N. K. Beal and William Walker. Two features stand out prominently In the list if nominations which has just been completed and arranged by Handicapper Fred W. Gorhardy. who Is now here assisting Manager Levy. One is the large number of individual owners represented and the other is the virtual inclusion of nil the prominent stake performers which have been conspicuous up the Hue. The first factor assures wide-open contention in all the events, and the second a margin of class easily ahead of any previous meeting at the picturesque seaside course here. So numerous were the owners who sought stable room here that a radical revision of stall allotments was made necessary owing to lack of room for all who applied, and the revised list of stable allotments, which means that not a stall will lie left vacant, is as follows: W.
