It will therefore remain as of yore of the value of 0,000. The program for the annual National Hunt Meeting at Cheltenham next spring is published and will lie read with interest. The stakes have been increased to the huge sum of 5,875 and there are in addition two Challenge Cups of the value of ,1125. The National Hunt Committee has allotted ,S75 to the National Hunt Steeplechase and the winner for the first time will receive a round "thousand."
