The latter raced well up in closest pursuit throughout and was going fastest at the end. AUSTIN STURTEVANT came from away back in the stretch. TOISON DOR showed speed, but tired. SUPREME ran like a good colt, moved up resolutely after turning into the stretch and, having passed into the lead when an eighth out, won going away. RUNAVAY showed the most early speed and forced LOST FORTUNE to do his utmost all the way. LOST FORTUNE took the lead and appeared the winner in the last eighth, but tired badly near the end. BRIAR PATH ran much the best race and, after being in a jam at the start, showed high speed for the first half and drew out under punishment in the last eighth to finally win going away. KIAA ran well, but tired in the final sixteenth after appearing the winner. AMORET was far back to the last turn, from where he was ridden hard and finished fast and gamely. LOAN SHARK ran a good race and will do better. LURIA showed speed and tired. RYE STRAW quit after setting the early pace.
