EXPECT CHANGE IN SCHEDULE. Ottawa. O11L. March 18. It is now up to the directors of the Montreal Jewkey Club to say whether or not dates for the fall race meet at Counaught Park shall be changed. They were originally scheduled for August 20 to September 2, but the new club elesires to open on August 2! and close on September 5. They appealed to the Canadian Racing Associations, but secretary Fraser has announced that the older tracks must get the preference and that the dates cannot, be changed unless the Moutreal Jockey Club consents and delays its opening until after the close at Connaught Park, or agrees to a clash on the closing day at Connaught Park and opening day at Blue Bonnets. Racing manager Rohrback. however, is confident that the Montreal Jockey Club will agree to the change. He says that secretarv Xorthev was favorable and that several of the " Montreal directors promised Fred Carling that they would not object. Meanwhile the advertising and other literature of tho Comiaiight Park Club is being withheld, pending word from Montreal.
