A CONFLICT IN DERBY DATES. If the managements of the Latonia and Dorval t lacks adhere to the arrangements already made, there will t c a conflict of dates for the running ■ •I two of the most laaasrtaat Derby races to be decided in America this season. Tbe o. HK Dorval Derby, richest of all American three-year-old races scheduled for this season, has already been announced to take place on Saturday. June 13. The Dorval meeting is to begin June 8 and close June 15. Now word comes from Kentucky that June 13 has likewise been tentatively selected for the running of the I.atonia Derby, 1914.sh,000 added. Since both Derbys have much In common in the way of entries, ii is obvious that a re-arrangement of the dates would not only be received with satisfaction by the owners of the good three-year-olds concerned, but would be likelv to result in a better Derby race at each of the two tracks.
