MONTREAL STRING IN WINTER QUARTERS. Montreal, Que., October 15. The string of race hones owned by Donat Raymond have been sent into winter "iiarters at the Raymond Farm at Dor-val. In the lot are several Canadian-breds, including Reddest, which won his last start at the Ivirvnl autumn meeting. This colt Is an eligible for the Kings Plate next season. He Is a big lumbering colt and probably will do better as a three-year- old than a two-year-old. The stable lo.-.t a valuable colt last week, when the foal of the well-known mure Snl Volatile fell and injured himself so badly that he had to be destroyed. This colt, although only a weanling, was looked on as promising. Lord Ladas, which was sold to Mr. Raymond early In I be summer, has been returned to the farm owing to the purchaser not being allowed to take a Canadian-bred horse out of the? country.
