STATISTICS OF RACING IN ENGLAND. The partial resumption of racing in England and especially the holding of the important Doncastei .September meeting, resulted .in material addltitas to the stable accounts of winning owners. In addiiip the spoils of the St. Leger to his account through the speed and stamina of Black Jester, J. B. Joel became almost positively assured of being England s leading winning owner at the end of the llat racing seasbn of tills year. Lord Cadogan has enjoyed a , good turf year and is in second place, but practl- tallv has no chance whatever of overtaking the. leader. To and including -September 12, the owners whose horses had won !? 15,000 or more were the following: winning Races Amount Owner. Horses. Won. Won. His Majesty, the King... 5 3 5 33,522 J. B. Princess Dorrlo, from her long held place at the head of Englands money-winning horses or the year. Doubtless he will remain nrst to the rinse of the racing season. He is obvious, n ox cellent three-year-old and now that lie lias eirec nally disproved tiie suggestion that he would prove unequal to the staying over such a long route as that of the St. Leger, may shine as a cup horse next year.
