FIDGET, after racing close up from the start, drew into the lead after rounding the stretch turn and won easing up. WATER WITCH was forced back soon after the start and closed a good gap in the last quarter into a game second. FLOSSIE CROCKET raced into the lead on the last turn and tired in the last eighth. GILT EDGE shewed a good turn of speed and set the pace to the lasc quarter, where she tired fast. HATTIE BURTON and DIGNITY ran fairly well. Overweights Little Slam, 2j pounds. . MARY ANN K. moved up steadily from a slow beginning and took the lead in the last eighth, then swerved, but won going away. GARNEAU raced well and came fast through the last eighth, but just got up in time to take second place. PRINCESS CALLAWAY raced into the lead on the last turn and tired slightly near the end. GABRIO quit in the stretch after showing good speed and racing in closest pursuit to tlie last turn. FELLOWMAN set the early pace and quit badly in the last quarter.
