"JOHN BRIGHT" GOES THE LONG ROAD. William J. Harding, better known to manv as s "John Bright," died suddenly yesterday in a a Cicero hospital. The dead man was formerly a a capable trainer of race horses and among others he e had in charge was the high class handicap horse, ;, John Bright, from which Connection he derived the e soubriquet referred to. Probably the last really good horse with h which he had anything to do was his own n excellent two-year-old. Kllngsor, which was one e of the good ones of 1905. In more recent years be e had at times acted as a starters assistant and intermittently i- trained horses for local owners. He e was a man of excellent wit aud when iu the mood, I, a rarely entertaining conversationalist and raconteur. i- He was said to be about 45 years of age.
