The twelve yearlings purchased for C. K. G. Billings aud Frederick Johnson iu F.nglauil have arrived in this couutry aud are quartered at Belmont Park. John Cella. b. c. 2. bv Mentor—Miss Stroiue. the property of A. D. Cella, and which was being trained by Jake Mark loin, died last week at Im-louiii. Markleiu S4.ine time ago made the statement that John Cella was another Carry Herrmann. At Newmarket.
