■ • LUCK OF WEBER and WARD IN POSSESSING A STAR TWO-YEAR-OLD + 1 — - 4. Weber and Ward did not have many horses in racing this year, but one of them was a regular whale of a racer. This was the smashing good two-year-old Dodge, lie was right in the first flight ox the year and one of the few horses which won 0.400 or Baste. Bt sides being able to run fast on a dry track lie was an exceptionally gm.d mud runner and is certainly an eligible aspirant to I erby honors, if all goes well with him through the winter. He had a pretty good stable comrade in Franklin, himself a two-year-old worth owning. Outside of the two the stable held nothing of note and its record was: Horse. Col. and Sex. A.
