Parsons is the author of the proposed amendment to the Jockey Club rules, whereby all runup money sh ill : be equally divided among owners having horses run-I ning in the race. Frank R. Hitchcock proposed that the gelding allowance of three pounds be eliminated. Both amendments are likely to pass. Mr. Hitchcock voted against the change in the rules bv which two-year-olds will be disqualified if raced i before April 1. 1917. Gun Rock, one of the Mackay yearlings which , was said to have lieen left in England, was among • the hand that arrived yesterday. Yearlings which came on tlie Minnehaha and I were taken charge of by John Walters are said to lie the property of George M. Hendrie, the prominent Canadian sportsman. Seven of the yearlings from France belonging to Mr. Mackay have been entered for the two-year-. old stake races to be run at Belmont Park and I Saratoga. J. E. Davis, at the next meeting of the stewards , of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association. will propose a change in Rule Twenty which will i keep three-year-olds from running in steeplechases until August 1. Heretofore May 1 was the date , specified. Mrs. Sandy McNaughton has filed a partnership contract with the Jockey Club covering nine horses. She retains one-half interest and E. W. Sohnier and A. Sonnenthal one-quarter each. The horses 1 . will run in the name of Mrs. Sandy McNaughton.
