FAST SPRINTERS DRAW A BIG CROWD. Havana. Cuba. January 29. — A sjiecial race between some of the heat sprinters here, including hmperator, Iron Mask. Nathan R. and King Worth, drew a large crowd to Oriental Park this afternoon. It furnished a stirring contest and resulted in a victory for Imperator. which beat Iron Mask by a head. The latter was in close quarters in the first half mile, but for which he probable would have won. Imperators victory was greeted with great cheering, as he is owned by a Cuban. Maxims Choice came out of his race yesterday lame. He stepped on a stone during the running and will be a non-starter for a couple of weeks. Jockey M. Mountain was suspended for fifteen days for rough riding in the sixth race.
