VOTE APPEARS FAVORABLE rOK RACING. Annapolis, ltd., March D . Senator Williams anti-racing bill came from the committee on Judicial proceedings today with a recommendation that il be sent to I lie linauce committee. lie llenstQT asked thai the bill be substituted for the committees report, but his motion was vied down, eighteen to two. This action is accepted as meaning that the Senate is determined to derive revenue from the ra.e tracks, rather than abolish them. I his lull will also be referred to the nuance committee, with the idea that that body will consider all the measures ami bring in a bill that will meet the needs of the situation.
