j I G. A. COCHRANS BREEDING OPERATIONS. New York. Mare h 17.— Clifford A. Cochrans thoroughbred breeding operations this season have been highly satisfactory. At his Mount Kisco farm there are already three lusty foals. They are- a bay colt b.v Ormoinlali — Veil: a brown colt by His Majesty Pretty Maiden, and a chestnut colt by His Majesty— Early Dose. Word has been received that Quair, a broodmare purchased in England for Mr. Cochran, has a fine colt foal by Swynford. Another matron of the Cochran establishment that is still in England is Glass Jug. in foal to August Del-monts Tracery. Doth of those mares will be bred before being brought to this country. The mares at Mount Kisco that have- not vet foaled are Connemara, in foal to His Majesty; Hen-neck, in foal to Swee-p: Adriana. in foal to Celt; and Marchioness, in foal to His Majesty. All of these have been named for the Futurity of 1918, including the English mares.
