W. T. ANDERSONS EASTERN STRING. Washington. 1. C, March 25— W. T. Anderson i has a string of ten campaigners ;it Penning track, preparing for spring racing in Maryland, under the eye of Fred Kraft. They have been there all winter, and Kraft has kept them busy enough siaea the weather became pleasant for steady training to have them about ready for the colors. Not the least important member of the establishment is Renanl. This filly, for which Anderson refused an offer of ,000 at Cravesend last spring. is the biggest three-year-old except Achievement in these parts. She stands all of sixteen hands on her plates and weighs about 1.100 pounds. Voter never got a bigger filly, and, moreover, she looks like one that will go on. Star Cift. a frequent winner in good company at Powie and Havre de Grace last spring, has I wintered splendidly, and is close to a race. The other mature members of the Anderson string include Estimable, a four-year-old brown mare by Peep oDay — Estimate : Cy Merrick, a brown five-year old gelding by Peep oPay Prinzessin: llay-den. a four-year-old gelding by Peep oDay — Cold I Lady, anil a three -year-old maiden by Star Shoot, from Kentucky. The two -year -olds of the establishment are an i eap dally prrponnrmilm band, one of Cheat, ■ bay colt by Jack Point Bald Ten. is a brother of Ten i Point, which good horse begins his stud service in i Kentucky this spring. Another is a chestnut son i of Eyebrow and Gold Lady, and there is a chestnut sou of .lack Point and Raiment she the dam i of Phyllis Antoinette and Marjorio A.I. Ten Points brother does not look anything like him. Ten Point was always a giant of great length and coarse appearance. He was n sixtcon-haad horse before he made his appearance under Colon at Laurel in October, 1012. This two yen-old brother of his is a compactly made youngster ■ no more than fifteen hands one inch, short bached I and heavily quartered, with fine slanting shoulders ; and splendid underpinning. lie is exceptionally long above the knee, ami his ; hocks, which he keep* well under him. are close to the ground. His type is decidedly more fetching ; than Ten Points and he looks as though he might come to hand iptiekly. The Eyebrow eolt is :i rangy chestnut with big cannon bines and better feet than one generally finds under a son or a grandson of Star Shoot. His sire will be remi inhere. I as a three year-old I of splendid siz. which showed good form at Pim-lico in PI10 and then fell lame. This is the first two-year old by him that has been broken. The Jaek Point Baiment colt is a chestnut of smaller size and probably not as food as the other youngsters, but withal a useful suit.
