RUTH STRICKLAND slipped through on the inside into the lead in the tirst eighth and. after being headed in the stretch drive, rallied and won drawing clear. GREETINGS swerved out on the stretch turn and came extremely wide, then tired after taking the lead. SHRAPNEL saved ground when entering the homestretch and finished fast and close up. GARNET ran a particularly had race. IMA FRANK showed speed. IDLE MICHAEL was probably a little short and tired in the last quarter. BAMBOO stumbled at the ninth and again at the last fence and his rider finished with his feet out of the stirrups. FAIR HELEN closed a gap and finished resolutely after beginning slowly. SIR EDGAR w;s in a pocket at the end and could not get through. PRINCE HENRY was forced to work his way up on the outside and finished close up. ROBERT BRADLEY began with the others, but immediately propped. PRESUMPTION ran a bad race. TIAJAN tired. CINCINNATI was bumped into at the start and lost his rider. ADA ANNE ran well.
