USEFUI SELLING PLATERS WHICH WON A COMFORTABLE AGGREGATE f FOR P. M. CIVILL LAST YEAR 1 : l_ . 1 P. M. Civill had no horse of high rank in his stable last year, but with such as he had contrived to amass a comfortable total of money won. The Plaudit gelding. Mockery, was his principal winner, but the two-year-old filly. Investment, was not far behind him in money earned and won more races than any other horse in the Civill string. Robert Kay and Garneau more than paid their way. The best horse owned by him was the filly, Hanovia, but she was acquired by him so late in the year that she did not start in his name in 1915.
