PEACE DESCENDS UPON NEW ORLEANS. New Orleans, Lit.. May 2. — After a season of storm and threatened secessions, the Business Mens Racing Association has emerged a unified and harmonious organization. Not a dissenting vote was cast in the election of the directors for the new year from the list prepared by the nominating committee. I. B. Rennyson was re-elected president. The new directors of the association are I. B. Rennyson. A. B. Letellier. William F. Plnckard, Victor Lebeau. Archibald A. Marx. Philip Foto, A. W. Stewart, Robert Eddy, Jr., and Arturo De-lorto. Mr. Rennyson says that the association will devotes it-, earnings o the benefit of New Orleans and will provide an annual stock fair and agricultural exhibition here. He | ointed out that it already hail subscribed 5,000 to a fund for the erection of a city auditorium and that, out of next years earnings, an equal amount will be sub-• scribed.
