MO, outrun early, was rushed to the front on the second turn of the course and faltered badly at the end. DIXON PARK ran sluggishly, but jumped well. CREST HILL was never a contender. SYOSSET II. had the speed of the field and was under restraint when he fell at a backfield lump on the last turn of the course. PAY STREAK fell at the following fence and AMBROSIAN fell over him.
