Kd frump was her closest attendant, with Donornil and Water Witch alternatinc in third place until on the lower turn, where Water Witch had to bo taken hack, as Goose found himself in a pocket, and this caused a loss of ground before the filly Mali lie extricated from the position. She came wide in the stretch and passed Kd Crump, but could not Ret to the leaders. IMf Jr.. after l e-ginning slowly, succeeded in saving much ground when coming into the stretch and. closing an immense gap. gave the winner a game argument during the final eighth, but she hold him safe. I atonias o|Miiiiig this afternoon was favored by ideal weather conditions and an immense crowd was on hand, comparing well with those in attendance on the biggest days at Louisville, with the exception of Derby Day. It was a speculatively -inclined crowd and kept the workers in the mutuel department at top speed to supply their wants. They did not fare well in a financial way, because of the repeated failures of first choices. In this particular Beeper, Hawthorn and America were grave offenders.
