INCREASE OF ENTRIES IN WINDSOR STAKES. Detroit. Mich.. June 14— The Windsor Jockey Clul«s total stake entry list this year is eighty-nine in excess of what it was in 191.1. With the exception of the Canadian Handicap, all of the fixtures this year attracted a larger number of nominations than were received by Secretary Tanner for the same features last year. The total received is 380 as against 291 in l!ll."i. The three stakes to be decided at the first summer meeting across the river. Julv 15 to 22 inclusive, are the Frontier Handicap, the I. and C. Stakes and the Edonwold Stakes for two -year -olds. At this meeting will be run also the second half of the Windsor Double ■teat for Dominion bred foals of 1913. now three-year-olds, and for which .5H artel twenty -two hors.-s ale eligible. The increase- in .the value of the Frontier Handicap from si.imo to 85,000 is mainly responsible for fifty -seven of the loading racers in the handicap di ision being nominated to Windsors leading stake nice. The Frontier presents the cream of the thoroughbred racers on the Kentucky. New York ::nd Canadian tracks. Pif Jr. and King G..rin. while Mr. Moore has Marion Goosby. Raafcer Rill and ;ipsey George entere l. Windsor racing this year will 1m- characterized, as usual, by the assembling of many of the leading horses seen on t lie eastern tracks, in Kentucky and on the Canadian circuit, and in this turf melting pot attractive sport may be looked for.
