KATHYRN GRAY, after racing close up from the start, headed SOLVEIG at the eighth post and drew dear in the final drive. AIMEE T. raced in early pursuit of the leaders and squeezed through next to the rail when entering the homestretch, but was in close quarters in the final sixteenth. Foul was claimed, but not allowed. SOLVEIG set the early pace and was under hard urging for the entire way. but tired finally. RARY RASCH was outpaced all the way. ETRCSCAN set a fast pace and. holding the others safe, was pulling up in the final sixteenth. CHARMECSE was almost left, but closed an immense gap into a fast going seeond. BUCK SHOT had a rough race and came wide when entering the homestreteh. RESISTIBLE ran well. PAWHCSKA tired and was eased up in the final eighth. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to ,500 and sold to P. S. P. Randolph. CLIFF HAVEN closed up gradually and finished resolutely. AMBROSE set a good pace, under restraint, but tired and did not respond when called on for a final effort. FLYING FAIRY raced next to the rail all the way and made a fast and game finish. SLIMBER II. was a forward contender throughout and held on gamely under punishment. CHICLE was shuffled back on the first turn and finished with a belated rush. CAPKA tired in the final eighth. ROLY met with much interference. OLD KOENIG ran well for three-quarters. STAR GAZE moved up menacingly, while rounding the far turn, but quit in the stretch. The winner was entered for ,500; no bid.
