EXTENSIVE PIMLIC0 IMPROVEMENTS. Baltimore, Md.. June St. — Cpwards of 0,000 is s being spent in improvements at limlico. The first t big move is to set tie- grandstand back on an angle ,. Hint to build new concrete bleachers. The old clubhouse will l c enlarged, as the offices and jockeys rooms will be located in a new building at the lower not of the paddock. The clubhouse will be at tin-disposal of memliers of the club, their families and giets. witli tea rooms and all the comforts of club life. The new jo.-key quarters will have everything necessary for the convenience of the riders. including shower baths, lockers, a temporary hospital and all other appurtenances. On the top of the jockeys room and offices will be a glass cupola from which the jockeys can view the n cos while not riding. The limlico management is ubo planning MM i.ew and rich stakes, including a ,000 added steeplechase for three year old--, framed on the lines of the H.irlM.r Hill Cup. There will also be a n.-w Helling stake with ,500 added. It also has liecn decided to increase the added money for the Bowie Handicap to ,500. All the improvements, including two sets of new stables, will be ready for the autumn meeting. r
