MORPETH finished fast and gaining with every stride. EARLY LIGHT outgamed NEW HAVEN. The latter finished gamely. EMERALD GEM fell at the fourteenth jump. PESKY ran well and came again in the last sixteenth. ANITA raced in closest pursuit to the stretch and quit. PROHIBITION was swerving all over the track in the homestretch. GREENWOOD closed a gap.
