ELECTION set a good pace and was hard ridden for the entire Avay. but swerved continually through the homestretch, for Avhich he avus disqualified. DEER TRAP met much interference, but forced his Avay through, then tired after getting to the leader. PHILIPPIC raced on the outside of the others all the Avay and tired finally. JOCK SCOT Avas shullled back at the start and slipped through next to the rail in the homestretch, but tired also. STAR FINCH Avas pocketed and could never get a clear course.
