PLANS OF THE BELMONT STABLE. New York, July 7. The second division of August Belmonts stable, which consists of young thoroughbreds in training, will be shipped to Saratoga July 9. They will meet the Belmont yearlings at the Springs. S. C. Hildreth will remain at New York for the Empire City meeting with the active-division of the stable and then ship to Saratoga. Early in Mav Mr. Belmont imported eight three-vear-old colts bred by him at his breeding establishment in France. These colts were low in flesh when thev landed. Since that time they have been stabled at Belmont Park, in charge of trainer Hildreth, and now they are an attractive lot. They will be sent to Saratoga with the rest of the horses in Mr. Belmonts second division and soon put into active training. What appears to be the choice of the lot is Viewpoint, eh. c, 3, by Rock Sand Golden View. This colt is a brother to Rockview, which he much resembles except in color. Another which has been improving rapidly since landing on American soil is Ampere, b. c, 3, by Ethel-bert Amicita. This colt stands 1.1 hands 3 inches high and has good range and substance. He is of the Ethelbert type. The racers in Hildrcths charge are back in good form again, judging from recent trials at Belmont Park. The majority are close to their best racing form. Stromboii, one of the stars of the stable, is being carefully prepared for his Empire City engagements.
