MANY ELIGIBLES TO THE FUTURITY. New York, July 27. There remain seventy-five eligibles for the Futurity, the most coveted of two-year-old fixtures. This famous old race, taken over by the AVestchester Racing Association from the Coney Island Jockey Club, was last decided at the Sheepshead Bay course in 11100. In 1010 it went to Saratoga; there was no racing in 1011 or 1012, and 1013 and 1011 it was again raced for at Saratoga Springs. The stake was transferred to Belmont Park last fall. For the lOICi running 530 entries were received, 170 of which were declared void under the rules; the others, down to the seventy-five that remain eligible, have been declared. Of the nominators still in the list Harry Payne AVhituey leads with nine. Of these Bonnie Witch, Tumbler. Hwfa and Master McGrath have raced. August Belmont is represented by Doer Trap, AVood-trap and Invincible. Gifford A. Cochran has half a dozen still eligible, all of which have raced. All of the other big stables, are well represented and the Futurity will doubtless be worthy of its best traditions when it is ruii next September. - - is 1 i 1 I t , ; " e 1. I. - f II e
