SIR JOHN JOHNSON SPRY AND SPEEDY. Saratoga Springs, N. Y., August 3. Sir John Johnson seems to have discovered the fountain of youth, for this eleven-year-old thoroughbred will make his 1910 bow to the racing public next week. Sir John is owned by the Beverwyck Stable, and at the nresent time he has a three -year-old son in training. This is Plaintiff out of Litigant. There are also eight or nine yearlings by Sir John Johnson at the local track awaiting the sale of August 5. Twenty-one weanlings by this old fellow are quartered at John E. Maddens Hamburg Place, and are destined for the sales market. In Ids recent training trials the old fellow lias been showing much of his former speed and this brought him much fame during his earlier career on the turf. His owner, .Frank Nolan of Albany, is contemplating the purchase of several broodmares, and these will be mated to Sir John, as his first venture in the breeding industry.
