BELMONT TERMINAL STAKES. New York, August 3. George W. Gall, clerk of the course for the United Hunts Racing Association, lias issued entry blanks for two steeplechases to be run at the autumn meeting of that association, which will take place Wednesday, September 27. and Saturday, September 30, over the Belmont Park Terminal course. The first of the events announced is the Autumn Steeplechase Handicap to be run September 27. Tliis race is for four-year-olds and over, about tw;o and one-half miles over the brush course. It is for a stake of ,000. The other stake announced is the Queens Steeplechase Handicap, to be run September 30, about three miles over the brush course. It is also for four-year-olds and over, and the value is ,000. Both races are for gentlemen riders. In addition to these features five other races will be run each day, and among these will be the Stayers Cup for a purse ,000. No purse of value less than 00 will be offered at this meeting.
