FRICTION OVER NEW TRACKS DATES. Windsor, Ont., August 3. Friction between officials of the Windsor and North Essex Agricultural Society and the management of Kenliworth, Windsors new race track, over the- question of dates is disclosed by president F. W. Johnson of the Agricultural Society. Johnson declares the race track officials either forgot or ignored Windsors annual " fair when the weeks race dates were arranged; as Wednesday, August 30, decided upon the opening day, clashes with the initial day of the Windsor exhibition. According to legal advice given president Johnsdn there is an Ontario statute, which prevents race meetings and similar sporting, attractions from clashing with agricultural exhibitions, tin; latter having preference when choice of dates Is concerned. A conference will be held tomorrow between representatives of the two associations.
