THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. Because there was no racing for several days in his field of action, jockey F. Robinson failed to score his customary double figures in winning mounts last week. But he rode to victory six times and no other one of the thirty leaders did as well except .1. Acton, who also added six wins to his record. J. McTaggart gained three victories and ended the week only five behind E. Pool. A little luck this week might enable him to regain the leadership. He and Pool are our only riders who have acheived more than a hundred winning mounts this year, but F. Murphy is close to that mark and may pass it before the Saratoga meeting ends.
