LEOCIIARES, close up from the start, took the lead on the last turn and Avon in a. canter. BLIND BAGGAGE Avas always a forward contender and finished fast and gamely. RHINE MAIDEN ran extremely wide on the far turn, but slipped through next to the inner rail in the homestretch and made a fast finish. LEO SKOLXY was buffeted about, but closed an immense gap in the homestretch. SIR JOHN JOHNSON showed speed for live-eighths. FLYING FAIRY Avas away badly and not persevered AVitll. OTTO FLOTO fenced Avell and easily held MARCH COURT safe in the final drive. The latter fenced poorly. JOHNNIE McKAY refused at the ninth fence, but finished the course. QUEEN OF THE WATER met repeated interference, but easily passed the others Avhen clear. BERLIN was hard ridden throughout, but could never get up. YELLOWSTONE raced extremely Avide all the way.
