ESSEX PARK TRACK NOW IN ORDER. Hot Springs, Ark.. August 31. The race meeting to be held at Kssex Park, Hot Springs, Ark., has received the unanimous endorsement of the Business Mens League of that city. The dates are November 11 to December 5. This enables visitors intending to visit the Springs a chance be at. home for the presidential election, November 7. The Essex Park dates were set back from November 4 to November 11 for this reason. The extensive improvements are nearly completed. A concrete floor is being laid under the grandstand and the judges and timers stands are of the most approved models. The paddock is completed aud compares favorably with any iu the country. All the buildings have been entirely repainted, the fences whitewashed and the place will be a model of beauty. Splendid water and excellent stables are additional features. The stalls arc large aud roomy and will please the horsemen. The climate at Hot Springs, Ark., in the months of November and December is unsurpassed in any pountry. Hotel accommodations are sufficient and round-trip rates will be offered on all the roads leading to the city of vapors. The Rock Island railroad, which runs right by the track, will build a platform for the unloading of passengers and horses. The speculative features will be open to reputable layers.
