Camden, chairman of the Kentucky State Racing Commission, was unable to attend the opening of the fall race meeting at Lexington, Wednesday, owing to poor health. Mr. Camden left Tuesday for New York, where he will be placed under the care of a specialist. He was accompanied by Mrs. Camden: .T. T. The mare schooled splendidly through the field and she impressed Mr. iwathmey so favorably that he decided to retire her to the stud and try to breed jumpers from her. She is now in foal to Gwynn Tompkins sire, Seahorse II. Kenneth 1. Alexander of Woodburn Stud Farm, near Lexington, has bought the fine Irish two-year-old Trevisco, by Tredennis The Test. After racing him in this country, it is said he will retire him to the stud at Woodburn, whence came, in days long past, many famous race horses. Trevisco is a big chestnut colt, sixteen hands high, and was the recipient of high enconiums when he recently won the Baldoyle Foal Stakes at the Baldoyle" meeting.
