BIRD LORE closed a good gap steadily, and finishing with a rush, got up to win in the last stride. POLLYANNA raced forwardly from the start and took the lead in the stretch, but tired near the end. QUEENS PARK showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch. SNOWDRIFT began slowly and closed an immense gap in the last three-eighths.
