TROILUS began fast and, drawing away into a long lead on the far turn, kept it and won in a canter. COURTSHIP, as good as left and probably best, closed a big gap and finished fast. HANDFULL was saved close up to the stretch turn, then moved up swiftly and, easily passing the leader, drew out into an easy lead. INFIDEL II. showed the most early speed, but tired when challenged. VOLUSPA was a forward contender all the way. DINAH DO began slowly and was forced wide on the first turn, then clo sed a big gap. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to 05 and bought in. FLITTERGOLD was shuffled back early, but was taken to the outside and raced into the lead on the last turn, then tired anil just outstayed CHICLET. The latter had a rough race and met with repeated interference, but closed up fast when clear and almost got up to win. DADDYS HOICK easily passed AIR MAN .in the last eighth. ESTIMABLE set a fast early pace and hung on gamely until in the last sixteenth. BUCK SHOT was forced wide when entering the homestretch and finished with a rush. BETWEEN US and ROYALIST tired.
