LAUREL RACING STATISTICS. i The autumn meeting of. the Maryland State Fair, which began at Laurel, Md., October 2 and came to ; a close October 31, embraced twenty-six racing days, during which time 182 races were decided and 58,340 was distributed in stakes and purses, representing a daily average of 86,090.
