FEATURES OF HAVANAS COMING MEETING. New York. November S. There will be some stables missing that were in Cuba last winter, and it is presumed that a hint was given them that their absence would be preferable to their company. Every effort was made by the officials to build up the sport, and those in charge insisted that all race their horses consistently. The staff at Oriental Park for the coining meeting will be the same as last winter. C. J. FitzGerald will be the presiding steward; C. II. Lansdale, associate steward; A. T. Dobson, patrol steward; M. Nathauson. presiding judge; P. A. - Brady, associate judge; J. F Milton, starter; C. C. Cam-peau, associate judge, clerk of the scales and entry clerk, and W. W. Lyles, paddock judge. The officials of the club are: II. D. Brown, president and general manager; J. F. Milton, assistant manager; C. F. Flynn, secretary and treasurer; and F. J. Bruen, auditor. II. 1. Brown, Jr., will be in charge of the betting ring. Both systems of Avagering will be in force. There will be both, the mutuels and the books, the ring being an open one. The condition book for the first seven days has been distributed among the horsemen, and it provides for races to suit all classes of horses, with purses ranging from 00 to 1916.sh00 added. It has been decided by the management to provide races for two-year-olds during the meeting. This was done at the request of the horsemen avIio propose shipping to Oriental Park. On Christmas day a handicap at one mile will be given, to which ,000 will be added. Announcement of special events and purses will be made in due time. Among the new stables that will take part in the meeting are those of A. K. Maconiber, Senator C. 1. Sullivan, U. Angerola. Frank Ilerold, Quincy Stable, Henry J. Morris, W. F. Schulte, Frnzier and Farris, It. E. AVatkins, T. A. Davies and C. Hawk. Jefferson Livingston will send down a string of twenty, and II. G. Bedwell will ship twenty-five.
