aUINCY STABLE HORSES IN RETIREMENT. Trainer Stephen LaAvler has a number of the Quincy Stables horses in his care at Gravesend. Among them are the handsome big two-year-old chestnut Three Cheers, which now is a gelding. He is by Celt Sumptuous. Babcock, another two-ycar-old by Waterboy Phantasma, also a gelding, has been fired and blistered. The brown two-year-old gelding Jimmie Burns also has been fired and blistered, and so has the chestnut gelding Bur-lingaine, a two-year-old by Canard Sweet Alice. Andrew, the splendid-looking son of Disguise and a daughter of Cyllene, a horse AVhich Avas a crack sprinter two years ago, has been thrown out of training anil will be sold for a sire. He is a fine horse and with his breeding he should be successful in the stud. Trainer LaAvler also has the chestnut two-year-old filly, Shannon, by Voter Tower of Candles, and the two-year-old chestnut filly, Margaret, by Ballot Miss Crittenden, she having been fired and blistered but recently. He has now in active training two yearling colts and two yearling fillies, which constitute an attractive and promising quartet. They are a bay colt by Ballot Discipline, a chestnut colt by Ballot Blush Rose;, a brown filly by Helmet Grail and a brown filly by Helmet Konic.
