BUYS THE KIDDLE PARK PLATE WINNER. New York, November 11. It is announced that A. K. Macomber, who has been buying high-class tiioroughbreds in a lavish fashion in this country and England during the past year, has just made three more important purchases of thoroughbreds 11; England from J. B. Joel, from whom he acquired Star Hawk and the other imported horses that have carried his colors in the country this year. The star of the latest transaction is North Star, a two-year-old son of Sun Star and Angelic. This .youngster was the 1910 winner of the Middle Park Plate, which has come to bo known in England as the "Two-year-old Derby," because of the fact that the juvenile winner of this event frequentlv turns out to be favorite for the Epsom Derby of the following year. Along with this crack youngster will come Kings Joker, another good one by Sun Star. Kings Joker is a three-year-old out of Absurdity. The third of the trio coming to Mr. Macomber is another two-year-old by Sun Star Verne.
