1 1 1 : i 1 MANY IMPROVEMENTS AT DEVONSHIRE. Montreal, Que., November 11. Grant Hugh Browne, managing director of the Western Racing Association, operating Devonshire Park at Windsor, came to Montreal yesterday to confer with secretary Thomas J. Duggau and the other directors. The club is planning many improvements to the plant for next season. The graudstand will be lengthened fifty feet, which will give it a seating capacity of 0,000. The mutuel plant will be made thirty feet wider and one hundred feet longer, while forty machines will be installed. Work will be commenced at once on the buildings. The Western Racing Association will build a clubhouse for next season, while the paddock will be enlarged and improved. Practically the same improvements will be made at Mount Royal, and it has been definitely decided to install the mutuels for next season. Twenty machines will be placed.
