DEVONSHIRE HORSES REACH JUAREZ. El Paso, Tex., November 13, Four express cars of horses arrived here late yesterday afternoon from Devonshire, Canada, and the thoroughbreds have been stabled at the Juarez track. The consignment comprised the stable of John C. Ferriss, who shipped Harry L., Raoul, Zudora, Magikon, Violet, Kagura, Freeman, Alda and Rhodes. P. M. Civill shipped York Lad, Dora, Miss Tipperary and Tom Carroll. Jack Delaney brought Sally ODay; W. Elliott Noble Grand, Hanan and Safe Home. II. Webb sent Utelus, Husky Lad, Col. Ashmeade, Gallant Boy and Queen Apple. K. Griffin has Royal Bess, Tom Mumford, Sybil. Mab and Allan. II. II. Stevens shipped Sal Vanity and Mack B. EubanUs, and T. W. Coalter brought Sir Fretful. Jockeys McCabe, Guy, Bobbins, Molesworth and Roouey joined the riding colony today. There are approximately 400 horses quartered at the track. John Ferriss is in Kentucky to buy several other horses which he will ship here. Several carloads from Tijuana will be shipped here next week. Indications are that 000 horses will be here by opening day. Harry F. Breivogel, assistant manager, will arrive tomorrow to arrange for installation of the mutucls and the opening of the track. A copy of the book of the first weeks racing, as compiled by W. II. Shelley, has been received here and greatly pleased horsemen.
