CROKERS HORSES BRING GOOD PRICES. The sale of Richard Crokers horses at Glcncairn, Ireland, October 27, was a successful affair and London Sporting Life of the next day published the following particulars prices translated into American money terms : Messrs. Golf held the sale of Mr. Crokers horses at Glcncairn, County Dublin, yesterday, and for forty-six lots an aggregate of 10.495 guineas was realized. The highest price was 1,950 guineas for the smart three-year-old sprinter Eleanor M., which was purchased by Mr. M. Arnott for the Hon. G. Lambton. Of the other horses in training, the best price was 950 guineas, for Geraldina, a two-vear-old winner in Ireland, which was secured by Mr. W. T. de Fledge. The brown filly by Orby out of Simon Lass went to Cap til in Tuthill for 420 guineas, and next best was 350 guineas for the colt by Orby Celona, Mr. P. Cullinan being the buyer. The broodmare Grand Geraldine was retained at 800 guineas, but her colt foal made 470 guineas. Sir W. Tatem securing the youngster. The top price for a broodmare was 400 guineas, for the good-looking Florenza, by Orby Iaurinn, by Persimmon, purchased by Captain Dixon. Mr. Peard, in paying 000 guineas for a bay filly foal by Orby Iaurinn. gave the highest price for one of that age, and for fifty guineas less Sir W. Tatem secured the chestnut son of Orby Crosscut.
